My roommate and her “train hopping punk manfriend” as others call him. Salt Lake City is pretty.

And last but not least, this is Maggie. Maggie spends her time plastering things in the art building to the floor and playing banjo/accordian in a band with the previous roommate, Ali called A Sense of Porpoise. Also from Boulder, she drinks a lot of mate and makes a lot of delicious hummus. There is a black thing on one of her legs because she recently sprained her ankle while moshing. This is Magrat.

This is Ali, or AJ. If you couldn’t tell from the photo, he’s all xvx and stuff. You can find him moshing in our living room or kitchen, and eating mushrooms and daiya (not necessarily together). When he’s not doing that, you can find him having a vegan bromance with my boyfriend. He’s from San Diego which explains why he says silly things like “hella” and “skrill”. Meet Ali.
This is Nora. We call her Snora. Not because she snores; just because. She’s got really long legs and is currently saving the planet. She’s from right here in Boulder and enjoys sitting on our porch, listening to NPR every morning. I told myself I wouldn’t mention the weird stuff she does, but sometimes she wears a bathrobe with jeans. Nora can also outdoors the fuck out of anyone. She’s just great.
I do a lot of talking about how awesome my roommates are, but I’ve never once introduced them to the tumblr world. So you’re all about to meet my roomies. Prepare yeself, tumblah~!
My roommates are in a super fun folk punk band callled A Sense of Porpoise and we are all goin’ on a mini baby tour!
We’re going to be stopping in Salt Lake City, Utah and if you or anyone you know lives there and has any sort of connection to a DIY/punk venue or other Salt Lake punk bands- GET AT ME! We would love to make some connections and shit for this lil roadtrip.
And if you live in Utah, make sure you come out to the show! I’ll post about it when we find out where/when it is. It’ll more than likely be on Saturday evening 9/10
You can check out their band here!
